Today was the last day for my first solo show in Japan. Thank you to all the people who came to see my prints, it was a great experience！
About Me
- Valerie Syposz
- Printmaker from Ottawa, Canada. I work with lithography, linocut, wood engraving, wood cut and a variety of mixed media. I love working with traditional print techniques by hand and with paper, a material that can be both strong and delicate. For me, the choice of paper also has to do with touch; I want my works not only to appeal visually, but feel good when you hold them. Printmaking lends itself well to detail and a huge variety of aesthetics; it's versatile, intimate and meticulous. I love all aspects of printmaking, including the problem solving that comes with the medium. Please take a look at my gallery, send me a message or come to an exhibition and see my work in real life.
