It's starting to feel like spring, and I'd rather be outside enjoying the beautiful weather than stuck in my apartment.

- Printmaker from Ottawa, Canada. I work with lithography, linocut, wood engraving, wood cut and a variety of mixed media. I love working with traditional print techniques by hand and with paper, a material that can be both strong and delicate. For me, the choice of paper also has to do with touch; I want my works not only to appeal visually, but feel good when you hold them. Printmaking lends itself well to detail and a huge variety of aesthetics; it's versatile, intimate and meticulous.
