Norway ノルウェー

来週から２年ぶりアーティストインレジデンスに行きます！
ノルウェーのトロンハイムに滞在し、新しい環境にインスピレーションを得て、版画、ドローイングを制作します。
そこで誰、何と出会うのかをワクワクしている

Next week, I will be heading to Norway for an artist in residence program. It has been two years since the last time, when I went to Guanlan, China. I hope I can find some inspiration from my new surroundings in Trondheim. Either way, I'm looking forward to some time to focus on drawing and printmaking. I can't wait to see what awaits me there!

グロテスキュン展

先日グロテスキュン展Vol. 2が無事に終わりました。会場に足を運んでくださった皆様、本当にありがとうございました。
秋山さん、金さん、柳沢さんと三人の優れたアーティストと一緒に展示できて、とても嬉しかったです。来年のVol. 3もよろしくお願いします。

Thank you for coming out to support us at Grotes-Q. I was really happy with the exhibition and I think the four artists works complimented each other. Can't wait to see you again next year for Vol. 3!

6th International Miniature Print Biennale

I sent some small wood engravings to the 6th International Miniature Print Biennale at the Ottawa School of Art. It's always nice to have a connection to my hometown (even in a very small way) being able to show some of my prints there every couple of years.
Exhibition is starting from March 31.

Kanreki

The 60th CWAJ Exhibition of Contemporary Japanese Prints is traveling to the USA this year! From June to September, the prints will be on display at Highfield Hall and Gardens. There are some great photos of the work on their website, but be sure to check it out in person if you can.
