CWAJ Print show 2013

I went to the opening of the CWAJ print show in Tokyo a few weeks ago. As expected, it was a fabulous exhibition. Here are a couple of photos of myself and my work.

Awagami Miniprint

I was lucky to have a piece accepted for the Awagami International Miniature Print Exhibition 2013, an exhibition of printmaking on washi (Japanese paper). For participating, I received this lovely certificate and sample of a selection of washi papers. Looking forward to testing them out in the studio.

The exhibition is on until November 10, at the Inbe Art Space in Yoshinogawa City, Tokushima.

昨日から日本版画協会第８１回版画展が開かれました。この圧倒的な展示に新作一点入選出来ました。来週見に行くのを楽しみにしている！時間あれば、ぜひ足を運んでください。

CWAJ Print Show 2013

I finally got around to applying to the CWAJ print show. I had all intentions of trying last year, but I misread the application deadline. This year, I remembered... and I had one of my prints accepted!!!
This exhibition is really an amazing opportunity to see (and purchase) some great works coming out of Japan at the moment.
