I have a piece in the 2016 Delta National Small Prints Exhibition, starting this Thursday, January 28 at the Bradbury Art Museum. The show is on until February 28 and you should definitely give it a look see!

About Me

Valerie Syposz: Printmaker from Ottawa, Canada. I work with lithography, linocut, wood engraving, wood cut and a variety of mixed media. I love working with traditional print techniques by hand and with paper, a material that can be both strong and delicate. For me, the choice of paper also has to do with touch; I want my works not only to appeal visually, but feel good when you hold them. Printmaking lends itself well to detail and a huge variety of aesthetics; it's versatile, intimate and meticulous. I love all aspects of printmaking, including the problem solving that comes with the medium.
